I was honoured to be featured on the Australian Embassy in China's official Weibo account for their Women's Day 2022 campaign where they've been highlighting women in the agricultural industry - jobs that aren't usually associated with women, or even celebrated in China. In my experience living and working in China, there is still a huge stigma with attitudes towards people who work in farming, meat and general agriculture that transcends gender. I'd really love to see that change in China in the future - remove the snobbery about the types of people who work in those roles! It will happen one day.
