INFO:
This video was developed under the NQS PLP program which was funded until 2014. ECA has continues to provide these videos as a legacy to the original program, however all associated tools and forums are no longer available. This vignette is a brief example of a child just over one-year-old attempting to put a bib on a doll. It also shows learning through play and babies' concentration and attention span. Please refer to the supporting document written specifically for this vignette: http://www.earlychildhoodaustralia.org.au/nqsplp/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/NSQPLP-vignette_putting-a-bib-on-a-doll.pdf The Connecting with practice—EYLF and NQS video vignettes are for you to use on your own, or better still, with other educators. The aim is that your discussion will focus on both what and how children are learning and the educator's roles and contribution to the learning. This dual focus will help you use the EYLF to reflect on your practice and take action that will lead to improved ways of supporting children's learning. Also, please use these General guidelines which apply to all the vignettes-to help you use the vignettes with other educators: http://bit.ly/16SYRz5 Connecting with practice-EYLF and NQS video Download Procedure: To download the full version of Connecting with practice video, please go to http://vimeo.com/join and make sure you have registered and logged in.
